Senior Process Engineer
This Jakarta based position in The Lampunut Coal Project is to co ordinate and assist in the design of the CPP and related areas in a green field project for a 3.5 mtpa coal mine in Central Kalimantan. A critical part of the role is to ensure compliance with the companies “Zero Harm” policies and HSE&C goals.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring designs of the coal handling preparation plants and blending systems are appropriate to efficiently and economically process the resource. Liaison with exploration and mine planning departments will be essential to achieving this task. Responsibilities to include providing technical support for projects already in construction and production phases as well as for processing equipment and blending systems designs at river ports and ship loading points.
To be considered for this position you must have at least 5 years experience as a Process Engineer or Process Manager within a mining industry. Position is located in Jakarta office however the position involves travel within Indonesia as well as International travel. Knowledge of coal quality and blending for coking and thermal coals is an advantage. Competencies will include good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels with internal and external parties and an understanding of Business Improvement Principles. Fluency in written and spoken English is necessary.
